About the role

NorthLadder is on the lookout for an experienced Automation Tester, with a specialization in Katalon Studio. This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products through the development and execution of automated tests. The ideal candidate will bring a robust background in software testing, with a particular focus on using Katalon Studio to create and manage automated test scripts.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Katalon Studio, ensuring comprehensive coverage and efficiency.
• Work in close collaboration with the development team to guarantee the timely and accurate delivery of high-quality software products.
• Conduct thorough software testing, identify defects, and report them to the development team for prompt resolution.
• Continuously evaluate and recommend enhancements to the test automation framework to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to develop detailed test plans and cases, aligning with project goals and timelines.
• Engage in all phases of the software development life cycle, from requirements analysis and design to development, testing, and deployment, ensuring a seamless integration of testing processes.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in software testing, with at least 2 years dedicated to test automation.
• Proficient in automated testing with Katalon Studio, with a minimum of 2 years’ hands-on experience.
• A solid understanding of Agile software development methodologies, demonstrating the ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
